Curriculum vitae

            Welcome to my homepage!
            My name is László Fodor. I am a professor in the Department of Human Sciences at Hungarian University of Transylvania, where I teach general education,  theory of education, social pedagogy and the history of education (among other things). I specialize in the social side of pedagogy, and have particular interests in: school pedagogy, environmental education, intercultural education and personality pedagogy. My activity focuses primarily on the school education  and on the  innovation of  actually teaching practices and care principles.
            I was born in 1950 in a small town called Miercurea Ciuc, in the middle of Romania. I got my BA in special psychology and pedagogy, and my PhD in educational sciences from Babeş-Bolyai University. In am  married and I have two wonderful children, and four exciting grandchildren. We all live in the amazing city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
